Riff Randell

Actress PJ Soles starred in many films from the 70’s through the 2000’s including the following favorites of mine:

1976 She starred in “Carrie” directed by one of my all time favorite Directors, Brian DePalma. The film was an adaptation of the 1974 Stephen King book.

1978 “Halloween” directed by John Carpenter and starring Jamie Lee Curtis and John Pleasence.

1979 “Rock ‘N’ Roll High School” directed by Allan Arkush and produced by Roger Corman.

I especially identified with PJ Soles character Riff Randell in “Rock ‘N’ Roll High School.” She adored The Ramones and would do anything to meet them. I was in the 9th grade when this film was released. It was so me, posters on the wall, wearing rock and roll outfits and being obsessed with rock stars.
