Thank you Lori, my little wordsmith archivist!💙 It was an inordinate amount of fun .i loved all my brother musos though we had our ups and downs , but we were always there for each other and the audience. Try THAT with AI!
Lori this was SO AMAZINGLY GOOD!! Your writing and insider knowledge about this band made it such a fun read. I always loved this band and felt that they never got the respect and fame they so richly deserved!! I learned a lot I didn't know about them before 😊
I always loved that song! Thanks for the link to the video Lori! I wish I'd seen The Barracudas live. Funnily enough, there was a garage band called The Barracudas in 1965 who released one single. They were from Bunkie, Louisiana…just 15 miles away from my hometown
Our Louisiana Barracudas were nowhere near as cool as Chris and Robin and Jeremy 's band though…as far as Chris Wilson goes, to quote “Highlander” ….”There can be only one!”, as far as I'm concerned 😊 💜
Thank you Tom. Well, it wasn’t for lack of tryin, but after a while you just get tired and have to look to keeping yourself healthy and sane, both full time jobs here in the Anthropocene…
I imagine it gets disheartening. I see really good artists get zero acclaim, and then people who shouldn't even be in a local talent show making a fortune. THANK YOU for fighting the good fight for all of these years and making so much of the music that still inspires me and still makes me smile
What a storied career Chris has had! Thanks for sharing the adventures and the music here, Lori. Such great tunes. That clip in Tokyo is so delightful. I bet those fans still tell the story of the time they ran into the band in a bar.

AI doesn't have blood, sweat, tears nor soul ..it is complete bull. Thankful for your legacy xx
Of course honey xx

I'm so pleased you enjoyed it Tom!
Those photos were great too. So many that I'd never seen before 😊 ❤️
He brought an incredible archive here from London. You have no idea, I can post some really cool shit lol
I can imagine the stuff he has from his bands. Just being in some of the coolest bands that ever existed, he must have some amazing stories.

A great read Lori and I’m loving that photo in London.
